Dan Hanson, the sole proprietor of Thunderhead Technologies, operates the company as a part-time venture. His work comprises the design and implementation of software systems for various projects for telecommunications networks.

Dan earned an Associates degree in Electrical Engineering in 1986, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 1990, and a Master's degree in Telecommunications Management in 1997 from the University of Maryland University College.

Dan's interests include on-road bicycling, photography, travel, electronics, gardening, and all aspects of weather observing including a recent desire to chase Atlantic storms!
